Glass Insulators Production

The plant has the state-of-the-art equipment manufactured by leading global producers of special-purpose process lines for glass industry: LINDNER (Germany), EFR (France), OMRON (Japan) and Stromizmeritel (Russia) are among others. The unified process complex of the plant features the best special-purpose equipment manufactured by 2008-2009 for the glass industry in the world. JSC “U.M.E.K.” implements a Program for modernization of production line.

The Plant’s employees are highly-skilled specialists with many years experience in the glass industry.

 

Insulators Production's technology:

 

Preparation of raw material area, glass furnace, high-speed moulding machine, air and water cooling conveyors allow producing high quality glass shells for insulators of accurate geometry. Upon testing, glass details are forwarded to the assembly shop where they are assembled on the 24-positional semi-automatic conveyer with further thermal treatment in the steam-curing chamber within 24 hours. Connected in strings and tested, insulators are packaging in crates.
